A friend of mine is in London right now and since I can't find one in Canada I was thinking of getting her to pick one up while she is there if they are available. Does anybody know what stores stock these?

There are a few variations of the mibox poke around on here and you will find the exact model # for the atv one as the rest are just android boxes that can connect to your tv rather than a box running android tv
I think it is only available in the US from Walmart right now. I'd be surprised if Xiaomi doesn't wait until Mi Box 4 to enter other national markets.
I could be wrong, but if it is only the US that it's being sold, my advice would buy it directly through Xiaomi's website. It can be shipped to Canada.
Hopefully your PM finally loosens the corporates' control of your media, Google ups their AndroidTV partners, and to a degree, Quebec stop pretending to be its own country with a separate set of rules and regulations. Until then, I think consumers there will continue to be forced to jump through hoops.
Love Canada, but I hated the lack of options in media (damn Rogers), cell phone, electronics, etc. Though your candy selection is unbelievable.
