As an alternative, you can sideload the phone app and run it directly from the Shield. A mouse works best and the video plays wonderfully.
NBC just released their streaming app for Android TV a few weeks ago, so I would think maybe there working on an NBCSN app also?
There is no NBCSN app, but casting works fine. If you don't have a device capable of casting, there's an NBCSN Kodi add-on.
