I know, I know...get a shield instead. Yes LeEco is a dead company and you won't get any support.

But if you're a gambling person, great set with built in AndroidTV (will forever be stuck at 6.0). It's $349, not $1349, so I'm not super worried about warranties.

Here are some reviews, so judge picture quality for yourself: http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/leeco/super4

For me it's fine, but I was just looking for something that didn't suck and was cheap. Here's my personal opinion on it after 2 months of usage. The exterior design is gorgeous only bested by high end Samsung and Sony. It basically mounts flat to the wall. None of the other cheap brands were remotely this thin or well designed. Not TCL, Hisense, or Vizio.

My wife loves the single remote with built in mic to control everything. People tend to think these things are minor details, but is a huge deal in our family. Whatever chip they have in there has handled all videos I've thrown at it without a hiccup. Previous Nexus Player and returned MiBox stuttered on some shows I had previously recorded on a WMC HTPC. Kodi and Plex work wonderfully on it.

Cons. Dead company. Off angle viewing is mediocre. Has a weird bug that throws the date and time off which messes up the Live Channels guide. I eventually switched to just using the HDHomerun app, so it's fine for me, but be aware of this annoying issue. Has a bunch of weird LeEco apps on the homescreen you can't get rid of. It's annoying as shit.

In short, at $498 (what I bought it for), I thought it was fantastic deal. At $349, it's a steal and in my opinion, no combination of TV + external box remotely comes close in terms of picture quality, value, and design.

Damn, my local one doesn't have one, but the one by work does... I'm tempted to get it just to use it as a regular TV and hook up my Nexus Player to it...

I have had this tv since November, ama.

I picked one up yesterday. Works better in my living room (bright room, windows on opposite side of TV). Yeah, viewing angles aren't great for that 10 or so degrees at the extreme, but it's expected with a VA panel. The screen isn't as reflective as a plasma that's now in the basement, really bright so good for my type of living room. I don't have to close my blinds just to watch.

Performance of Android TV is decent. Better than the mi box but not at an Nvidia shield level (keeping it, just staying with the other TV). But it's so handy to have the tuner and remote all integrated. I hope we'll see 7.0 but it's still ok with 6.0. my only issue is all the "Le" apps, haven't found how to disable those yet and the lack of Amazon prime.

I have had the Super4 X65 for seven months now, so far I am happy with it.

The only major problem I had was HDR didn't work as expected out of the box but it was fixed with an OTA update a while back.

I prefer to be optimistic so until LeEco comes out and say "See ya suckers" I'm going to assume whoever is still in charge is trying to keep the company afloat. I don't see the point in assuming the worst.

For $349, I am extremely tempted to buy the Super4 X55 to replace the TV in my master bedroom, a now 8 year old Samsung 55" HDTV that looks like crap when compared to the Super4 X65 in my living room.

I love my Nexus Player currently hooked up to my old Samsung TV but I see no advantages of it over the Super4 X65.

If the TV had full HDR support, I would jump on it this weekend. Would travel around the state trying to find one. HDR > 4K. But that TV doesn't have HDR so it's just another 4k TV set with some smarts added in.

Definitely check brickseek, my local Walmart had this for $299 when everyone else had it for $498 2 weeks ago. TV looks awesome mounted on the wall. Picture quality is really good. Only issue is the rear speakers sound a little off in some of the modes.

Do they update to the latest firmware (automatically) which supports better HDR, but has the random locking up problem on switching HDMI? (I want, "Yes, Yes it does.") I bought one. It's still in the box.

I'm sure its a firesale cause they going out of business soon. No reason to invest in a TV that never gets Android TV updates. Spend the $ on a Shield
