Iperf on Android tv possible?

by My_usrname_of_choice

Or any other internal LAN speedtests? I'm having trouble streaming 4k from Plex on larger files. I know I have a bottleneck in my powerline adapters but I can easily measure what the bottleneck is. I haven't found a way to measure the connection to the TV itself.

Any ideas?

The TV is a Sony Bravia KD-49X7000D connected via WiFi.

Is it fair to assume you've tried downloading this from the Google Play store? I can download this app to Android TV running on my Mi Box... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.magicandroidapps.iperf&hl=en

Yes - see my megathread here: https://www.reddit.com/r/AndroidTV/comments/60eyix/underpowered_cpus_on_sony_bravia_x85dx8500d_any/

I've mostly done the work for you - THe 70D is the ATV2 platform so you might get slightly different result. However the whole range is flawed and the SoC used has engineering issues with being able to take L2/L3 packets off the wire fast enough for High Bitrate.
