Question regarding Xiaomi boxes

How come in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wxTy_QW52U&feature=share the reviewer has interface like on Android you get on TV (Android, Philips) while all other videos show "generic" box interfaces?

Also how much better is the white improved version of mibox and can it also ran like in the video (that design) I'm looking for it and it's important to me that it has that design

The only MiBox specifically designed for the international market is model MDZ-16-AB. It is the subject of the cited video. All the rest are based on tweaked phone versions of generic android and are targeted to Xiaomi's home market, the PRC.

Avoid the Chinese version at all costs, unless you want to roll up your sleeves up and get down and dirty with Firmware and fucking about.

Even then it will not work properly like the official MDZ-16-AB - USA Spec Mi Box.
