LeEco TV with HDHR Prime

by CPT_Kangaroo

With the LeEcos going on sale (still a lot at my local Walmart) I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the HDHR prime with it. I am particularly interested in sports playback. The shield plays everything flawlessly but if I can pick up a 55"TV with Androidtv built in for $350 and it plays smooth (unlike the mibox and Nexus player) I figure it is a no-brainer for a secondary TV. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Have both the x43 and x55 fed off an HDHomerun Prime. Works great via the HDHomerun app. 1 tuner supports both TVs because in actuality, the prime has 3 tuners built in. Live Channels also recognizes the Prime as a source so you can get integrated guide if you like. However the there's a time and date bug on the x55 that occasionally messes the guide data...so I just stuck to the HDHomerun app or Kodi (there's an HDHomerun plugin for Kodi as well).

I just picked up one of these televisions and would love to help answer any questions since I know I had a ton. Is this an app I can download?

What do you define as "smooth" video playback ?

Be aware also that there are major problems if you use Kodi on LeEco TV's and need Audio passthrough:
