I'm getting tired of the Google play store on Android TV. You can bet your bottom dollar these games either A) Won't show up at all OR B) take 4 -6 months to appear on the Play Store. The whole thing needs a massive overhaul. Nothing has changed in over 2 years!

Tried installing Comix Zone, and it installed, but the game didn't properly work with my DualShock 4 controller (which paired to my Android TV and navigates the android menus just fine). I also wasn't able to use the remote to navigate the game's menus either.

I installed Sonic the Hedgehog to my 2017 ShieldTV via the Play Store desktop website. It opens and plays great using the Shield Controller. I had to use the right stick to emulate a mouse to navigate the menus but otherwise it works just fine as-is. The advertisements suck, though.

I wonder if my Sony TV would be able to play Dreamcast games through this, haha

I would love some old Sega rpgs like shining force or panzeer dragon saga on my Android tv. That'll definitely be an instant purchase

Someone needs to make an emulator mod that can play the ROM straight from the APK.
