Multiplayer N64 emulation on Mi Box

I wanted to see if anyone had success with this. I have mupen64 set up on my mi box and emulating with a 360 wireless receiver for a controller. I'd like to make multiplayer work but haven't been able to. Anyone have a configuration that works?

Willing to change my emulators if necessary

I've set this up, you just have to assign controllers in mupen accordingly. I'm using two Xiaomi controllers though, not sure if using two 360 controllers will result in issues.
