Bravia is cluttering this thread

by fossum_13

Am I the only person on this sub that wants Bravia people to go to their own thread and stop cluttering s/AndroidTV?

I would think this thread is for stuff generic to Android TV. Like why an app crashes or new device posts...

When the Mi box launched, this page was full of Mi box posts.

When the Shield gets an update or when the 2017 version dropped or theres a big sale, this page is full of shield posts.

This place is for all Android TV discussion. Downvote posts you don't want to see and move along.

Sony Bravias are just as much "Android TV" as the Mi Box and the Nvidia Shield. So... no. These posts belong in this subreddit. Don't like 'em, don't read 'em.

Three posts daily is hardly "clutter." Maybe you are hoping to hear news about one particular thing and become frustrated when something unrelated is reported? I am holding my breath for Mi Box update to Nougat, for example

To be honest my opinion is that if we where to say that Bravia tv issues with Android tv sought not be discussed here, would be like if /r/windows said that from now on issues with hp laptop's sought go only to /r/pcmasterrace or something like that.

Like or not as long it isn't just about the hardware of the tv , but also about the android tv side of the tv, then it isn't no different than if user was complaining about nexus player.

No I dont agree. Time is better spent filtering out the posts that ARENT Android TV which there seems to be a lot of.

I think the issue is more that the same thread is being posted but for different models. We don't need to know when every single inch and year model of the Bravia was updated. Looks like they all updated around the same time. Just keep all of those in the same thread, rather than saying "My 2015 Bravia updated," "My Bravia from Asia updated," "Bravia update, what is this? Installing."

Just keep it in one thread.
