I'm trying to use an ethernet adapter on my Mi Box but it just connects me to wifi 5ghz.
This is the adapter I got: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Anker-Gigabit-Ethernet-Adapter-Supporting/dp/B00NPJP33M/ref=cm_cd_al_qh_dp_i
Any ideas?
Thanks!

xiaomi has an official adapter that works fine on the mibox, cost around $10AUD
Only had luck with asix devices. 88179 and 88172 IIRC. And the 88172 was much much slower than either wifi including drop outs and interference. I was getting less than 20Mbit on the 100mbit adapter. Mi box was at build 750 at the time.
I haven't had good success with the Mibox and Ethernet. I still get cutouts and freezes using the Ugreen adapter. In general wifi works better on my Miboxes. I have gigabit lan throughout my house and an Ubiquiti Amplifi HD mesh.
I got one USB 3.0 hub with gigabit ethernet port (RTS5411 hub + RTL8153 network controller) and it's work with mibox (my box doesn't recognize ethernet at first but after upgrade to latest build 1007, it's working now).
I got the save Ethernet adapter and it didn't work for me either. Did a bit of research and got this instead and it works perfectly.
