Own the same TV in 46". GoogleTV has long been forgotten and unsupported.
Even if there was a software upgrade path, the components on this TV are absolute garbage.
As others have suggested, your best bet is to use an Android TV set top box unit, and ignore all GoogleTV features.
Is there a browser installed/installable? Perhaps try YouTube in that
Now you buy a Shield and forget your TV ever had a smart component.
Just got YouTube to work last night found my own workaround. My google tv still works get for the most part for most smart functions. Now I just need a browser that works on all the websites without crashing.
