Try shafa.com and app.mi.com which specializes in Chinese apps. Quite a few are geoblocked and only work within PRC but you will find some that work OK for overseas Chinese.

You should also pick up a wifi mouse/keyboard as many of these apps are for tablet/phone use and do not support Mi remote.

You can use an app on the phone to emulate a mouse for the MiBox as well
