I have a Sony TV & I found an app but it only works on Samsung TVs. Screen mirroring on all my phones cannot detect the TV but the Google's remote control app does.

Ok just a guess but if the android remote app recognizes the tv its most likely andriod tv and you use it like a chromecast.

Google Cast aka "Chromecast Built-in" is a part of every Android TV device. You can mirror your Android phone's screen using that.
