My TV doesn't have CEC so I have to relay on a IR Blaster remote.
I am looking for a remote that can power on both my Mi Box and TV. The remotes I found on Amazon so far can only turn off Android boxes mentioned in the reviews, so I need your help looking for a remote.
And I also don't dig the smartphone apps. I just prefer a physical remote.

Look into the Sideclick. It fits in the side of your Android TV remote depending on which one it is. I have one for my mi box. They don't make them for the shield unfortunately
Flirc USB should make the Mi box work with the TV remote. Somehow.

Depends on what Shield TV you have. Harmony Hub will do it irregardless, but a harmony 650 will work with a classic shield TV or the Shield TV Pro (both 2015 and 2017 versions)
I use a harmony 650 on mine does all that and more can be found for $30 to $40 on sale routinely
