The only issue I have with the Mibox is there is no Ethernet port. so compared to the Firetv box with ethernet which one has a better performance and picture.
My nvidia shield tv picture seems better. Note Nvidia is wireless and my mibox has a monoprice usb Ethernet connection
I have both as well but shield is not wireless and mibox is it streams perfectly across the house from my router and i had to wire the shield thats less than 3ft from router
1 gig USB dongle great. Just wondering is the picture quilts any different
anybody compared the picture between the two. I have to say the speed of the MIbox is great. Compared the Sheild navigating is the same "NO GAMING" I think the picture quilty is grainy on the MIbox but not sure if it is me or my connection
HBO Now does not work on the Mi Box.
Does on the Shield and Fire TV.

I had both. I had the Fire TV. I was looking to get off the Fire TV, but just couldn't do it. PS Vue was really laggy on the Mibox, which runs fine on my Nexus Player. Then, I started getting error 10025 on Netflix, and couldn't resolve it. Finally, I returned the Mibox to Walmart and went back to the Fire TV.
I don't like the Fire Tv interface however the Fire has Sunday Ticket app
That might be the deal breaker
so I just purchased the nexus player and Firetv 2 so I can compare
