the problem i have is that it seems like the device wont wake up if i plug my keyboard into the device with the transmitter dongle. So does it wake up from sleep from any other bluetooth controllers or keyboards?
ive read the orig remote is IR, is that the issue here? only another IR device will communicate with it to wake up?
Yeah, I use my Rii i8+ sll the time. Its much easier to wake with the original remote though. Atleast in my experience it is.
Another thing I hate about the sleep feature is that if you use an HDMI switching device or otherwise effectively remove the HDMI connection from the device, it VERY quickly goes to sleep and cannot be woken up without unplugging and plugging the power cable back in.
I really despise that they don't give me the option to keep the device awake and powered up forever if I choose to do so. Leave the power saving decision up to me.
