Wireless Headphones for use with Sony XD8088?

Hi guys, I've recently bought a Sony XD8088 (I believe this is the X800D in the states), and was wondering if its possible to use wireless headphones with it?

I've tried using the Sony Platinum Headset but it doesn't work, so I would assume it uses something proprietary in its UDB dongle.

Does anyone know of something similar of have recommendations? Any advice would be appreciated :) thanks!

I just tried a pair of Sony pulse elites on my x700d and no dice. They work under Linux, so I don't think they're super proprietary in any way. I'd guess Sony didn't add usb audio drivers to their TVs.

Have you tried plugging in a USB headset? I was surprised that my MiBox worked with my old non-bluetooth PC wireless headset just by plugging in it's dongle.

Presumably any standard Bluetooth ones will work, and if your TV has a 3.5 mm out you can get one with a base station that plugs into that output and transmits
