Pre update I could pick different profiles... now I can't do that and my account I use everyday is not able to be selected.
No other device gives me this problem.
This update to YouTube is so BAD. I cant believe people like it. I side loaded the update since i havent been able to update via the store and immediatly reverted back. Its so bad. Seems like a regression and half assed attempt. Reminds me of the terrible AppleTV interface for Youtube.
Sounds like the same crummy new (old) version of the youtube app but with the addition of 360 video.
Am I going blind or is there no way to view a videos information in the Android TV interface? So frustrating.
I hope this fix the absurdity of preselecting the 140p for every video I start when I pay for the fastest internet offered.
How do you adjust the resolution and turn off closed caption on this version?
It still says 1.3.11 on my apps description page within the play store even with the 2.00.xx apk I pulled from the Mi Box installed.. they're either reporting on that or simply talking about the new (lame) version in general.
Yeah such a great update. If you happen to have 2 youtube accounts associated with your email, this update loses the ability to switch between the two and you end up being defaulted to the account you most likely don't use at all.
I had to switch back immediately after trying this 'new' YouTube app out.
