I have a Sony Bravia and I had an Nvidia Shield for a little while, I liked the remote of the Shield more. Does anyone know if the Shield remote or controller works on a Sony Bravia Android TV? Or maybe know another good remote 🙂

I'll probably go with the harmony remote. The companion version is not that expensive and can control Shield and the TV. Unfortunately Bravia TVs have only IR inputs for typical (on/off) function. I have the xbr900 and the only two things I hate are the terrible IR remote (Samsung is RF much better) and that the Android TV performance is quite bad compared to the shield. You can control the shield through the Bravia remote (CEC) but again you're forced to use the IR commands with the lag and also direct line of sight requirement. Word of caution: harmony remotes are not that straight forward to program but they work well.
