I'm wondering do others have this issue. I have an Nvidia Shield TV device and when watching 4k content on Netflix, after about 30/40 minutes into a show the Shield will reboot itself. It doesn't seem to happen with non 4k content on Netflix. Does anyone know what may fix it?
What do you have it hooked up to? TV? Monitor? Receiver?
I've not had it reboot watching 4k content on my TV, but I have had it reboot when playing 4k content and changing cables and screwing with the receiver.
Depending on your config, consider simplifying as much as possible - hook up directly to the TV or a monitor, make sure you've got good cables, etc.
Which version of the Netflix app do you have installed? Could be a bug in the latest update.
Have you tried deleting it & sideloading an older version of the app as of yet? If not, do so & see if it still does it.
If it does, you can always upgrade & if it doesn't, use that til they work out a fix.
I been having the same issue too with stock netflix and the updated version. Anyone found a fix yet?
I have the same problem when streaming movies through Kodi. Now I just use an IPTV APK instead and it's not happened since. Also, CEC is off, location services are off and auto updates are off.
Another thing to try is turn your performance quality from MAX to optimum setting.

I've been having that issue as well. Not sure what causes it to happen. It also doesn't always happen for me, just every now and then.
