Cut off the power, press (back + OK) on the remote + power on. Box will boot into recovery mode. Find the "format cache partition", select it, reboot.

Use the recommended usb 3.0 gigabit ethernet stick, preferably powered one. 5E/6 category cables and gigabit ethernet switch/router. Unpowered works too. Gives up to 250 mbit/s. Give up the wifi, 5Ghz chips tend to fry fast, gives less speed anyway
Bonus: If you want the Amazon Prime - install it using ES File Explorer via net or usb. In security settings allow the "unknown sources". Link: https://www.reddit.com/r/AndroidTV/comments/5nw302/amazon_video_extracted_from_gen_2/
Looks like this baby is great if you know how to make it work
DO NOT install ES File Explorer - worst File Manager you can use for Android TV devices and known to cause all sorts of weird issues.
That ES Explorer App is nothing but Adware, Bloatware, Spyware now. Use X-Plore File manager instead. :-)
