Is there any way to customize youtube suggestion in home page?

Hi folks,

I have mibox and Nvidia shield tv too .. Can I customize or take a suggestion that appears in Home page from a specific youtube's channel ? I don't like the suggestion that shows recently

no.. you have to see fidget spinners and fake pranks all the time

There really doesn't seem to be a way, so what I do is open the ones I don't like and down vote them. I don't know how much of a difference it makes but after about a month or more of doing that, I started seeing less crap I don't care about. I also made a point of upvoting videos I liked during the seemingly mandatory subscription begging section. So annoying, especially if you're already subscribed!

This is one of the most annoying things about the YouTube app, that and it automatically playing random video instead of the mountain of videos from my subscribed channels list.

No, one would think that the most sensible thing would be to showcase the same videos you get in the suggestions page of the app, or maybe your subscriptions inbox, but... Not for Google I guess

The only thing you can do is turn off suggestions from all of the YouTube app.
