Is there any way to break the "Apps" line in to two rows sooner?

Device: Mi Box

I'm not sure if the title explains what I want to do. I have 13 apps installed on my Mi Box in the bedroom. I know that, at a certain number of apps, they will break in to two (or more) different rows. Is there a way to force it to do this with less apps? I'd like it to happen around 7-10.

I don't think there is. I've just arranged the most frequently used apps to be near the left, for both rows

HALauncher is what I use. you'll have to use ADB to disable the default launcher to make it your home screen.

No. I don't know what Google was thinking with the 2 row max and infinite side scrolling.

It does it once you hit 16 apps, I believe. It'll put 8 on each row.
