Does an Android TV version of the"Flixster Video" app exist?

by SpockYoda

I seem to be only able to find apks of the mobile/tablet versions of the Flixster Video app. Any helpful information would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Nope. You are forced to watch it on your phone. I gave up on Flixter because it's a POS ecosystem.

Use Vudu.

Says it's compatible with all my Android TV devices

Flixster Video supports casting, so you can use that to get your movies onto the TV screen.

I 'have' to use Flixster as I'm in the UK and Vudu is only available in the US (it lets be get an account, but I can't get it to sign in).

Just got a Nvidia Shield TV and a bit disappointed with the lack of a Flixster Video App. However;

I downloaded the 'Aptoide TV' APK (the TV specific one, the normal one doesn't seem to work properly) on my phone, transferred it via Google Drive and Installed it.

Aptoide TV, is like an alternative play store, and Flixster video is in there.

It isn't a dedicated Android TV version, it's a bit clunky and I've had to use the Shield controller as a mouse, but my UV films have showed up, so hopefully it'll work out ok.

Actually, after a bit more fiddling;

The standard Aptoide does actually work, but you have to use it with the shield controller/mouse to be able to select things properly.

Stick to Version 6.8.2 of the flixster app, I couldn't get anything newer to run.
