Live Channels Channel filter

by rldev

I know I can filter out channels from my hdhomerun in Google Live Channels. The problem is that I have 7 Android TV boxes. Is there a way I can filter out the channels I don't want so that I don't have to do this for every installation? windows media center / Serverwmc allows me to do this for kodi. Thanks.

Thank you everyone. I followed Joey's advice and it is working well. Silicondust needs to update that interface, but it worked. I understand how to filter channels on Live Channels, but that would have meant I would have to do it 7 times for my 7 boxes.

Yes, go to my.hdhomerun.com and select channels under your tuner. Double click the star next to any channel you want to hide (turns it red). Rescan in Live channels and it will be gone.

Since you have so many devices in order to accomplish this you would have to approach it by managing the channels being made available by your HDHomerun.

On a computer on your local network, navigate to my.hdhomerun.com in a browser.

Click on the HDHomerun device it detects and then click on 'Channel Lineup'.

You can then click the Star next to each shown channel until it shows an 'X' for the channels you do not want the HDHomerun to make available.

While on a channel, press the middle remote button, arrow down to various settings... It's to the right a few clicks. You can edit the channel list from there.

"customize channel list" in the live channels settings.
