I don't have a god damned "brand account". I have a youtube account that predates google's acquisition of youtube and I'd like to keep it.
Since a lot of peoples' google accounts start as gmail accounts using their real names, I think google's primary motivation for getting rid of old style youtube accounts is that proper google accounts are more likely to be directly and more clearly tied to a real name and identity and are worth more from an advertising standpoint.
Make them hear you if you don't like these changes. Provide your feedback here .
fuck off google
I know you can convert accounts to a brand account but I want to convert to a creators account. Does deleting the brand account turn the other one into a valid account?
How about rather than migrating 10 years of shit over I just say fuck you I won't watch youtube on my android TV, nor will I even consider signing up for your paid Youtube TV service based on my experience with the standard youtube app and how shitty it is.
