I have not, for the life of me, been able to pair my Harmony Hub with my shield (2015). I have even gone as far as to do a factory rest. No matter how many times I search or how many times I hit the pair button on the hub it just won't pair. Every other device finds the hub though. Any suggestions would be great. Thank you all in advance.
Are you sure that you have selected the bluetooth version of the Shield control codes set in the Harmony configuration? The 'default' control setup when you just do a search for the Shield on the desktop client is IR, or at least it was for me.
IIRC I had to add the Shield through the Harmony App on my phone to get it to bluetooth pair.
Did you try downloading the app for your phone and adding the shield that way? I think the app will prompt you to pair with Bluetooth. For some reason I remember having to do that with mine. Don't use the windows app.
Same issue, Android app. Activity screen says to 'power on' the shield (it's already on) and I follow instructions at harmony site, setting shield into pairing mode. Shield never discovers the hub. Have deleted and readded the device, rebooted all, pulled power from the hub, restarted the app, gone back and forth through the activity...no joy.
Basic i know but did you put the shield into pairing mode as well?
