My Nexus player remote is wonky. Getting lots of random button presses, even with new batteries. What are some suggestions for replacements?
While my remote still works, it is definitely not as reliable as it should be. I thought about replacing it myself, but found that the only suitable replacement that seems to be confirmed is the original Fire Stick (non-voice) remote.
You'll be missing the voice search functions, which may not be a huge deal for you but will likely be an annoyance once Google Assistant finally rolls out.
I can confirm the MiBox remote does not work with the Nexus Player.
I rather like this one . 99% of the time the d-pad is all you need, but the built in keyboard and air mouse functionality are really useful.
