Best streaming box to get

What is the best streaming box to get? I currently have a fire tv 1st gen and am looking to get a new box that streams at 4k. Any suggestions?

Your legit Android TV options are:

  • Nvidia Shield (powerful, less affordable)
  • Xiaomi Mi Box (affordable, less powerful)

Both can do 4k. If you get anything other than these two, you're probably not buying an actual Android TV device.

Shield TV and then put up with lousy 1080p > 4K upscaling picture quality for everything else on it vs what any modern 4K TV's streaming Apps can do.
