Damn near every app has ads and 80% of the apps are church ones. I don't miss it. There was actually one private app I missed, but then I got Kodi, which replaced it 100x over.
It's been around a lot longer than AndroidTV
Yeah but I never used those less known apps.
I got rid of my Roku because the Prime Video app was missing despite it being made available in Canada half a year earlier. No problems with Android TV.
I have a roku and Andriod TV box/fire tv on each TV. I find the roku appears to have a better picture and is more reliable for streaming on supported APPS.
I feel the interface is slow and sluggish but if roku would allow perfect player and STBemu and speed up the interface it would be GREAT!!!!!!!
The apps are template shit on Roku
I'd say that most of the Roku apps (especially the individual channels) are rather pointless ones anyway. When I had a Roku, it felt as if just anyone could have their own channel.
