Basically title, I tried updating it through the play store but this does not seem to fix the issue.

The same thing is happening with my mibox right at this moment, but for some reason I can't cast any Youtube videos from my phone.

Go into Mi Box Google Playstore App - My Apps - Youtube - uninstall update.
Then in Settings and Stop Apps Auto Updating.
