This is for the Smart Control, but its the same Hub used by all of them now. I have this and actually prefer it. It doesnt have a fancy LCD screen, its just buttons, but because of that it lasts 6-8+ months of normal usage on a single coin cell battery. The hub also has built in Bluetooth and Wifi control on top of the normal IR. Also has where you can set a task to turn on the lights, tv, etc in the morning if you want it all automated for you. I paid $120 3 years ago and still would today.
I will point out, this is the Smart Control controller and not the Smart Home Control controller. They are essentially the same thing, and the hub can control all the same devices, the Smart Home Control controller has additional hardware buttons dedicated to lighting control, where the Smart Control doesnt.
How is it with controlling PS Vue? For example, does the "guide" button bring up the guide?
I have a cheapo universal remote, but it takes a couple extra button clicks to use ps vue and was wondering if this works better with it.
What makes this the best? I'm just curious more than I'm trying to argue the contrary. It doesn't seem to have a built in qwerty keyboard or mouse support emulation of any kind. Both of those things are a must if you want to sideload apps made for android phone or tablet.
