I keep rearranging my apps to my desired order on a Sony xbr900E
Is there a way to fix this?
The Mi Box did this as well, til you disabled the Xaiomi leanback customizer app.
Look for something similar within your Sony system apps, obviously Sony branded as opposed to Xaiomi.
Shot in the dark, but it worked on that one, don't see why the same 'symptoms' wouldn't have the same solution on yours..?

Yea I eventually found these settings, the arrange by usage is off. I tried arranging apps from within these settings as well and after a while they still reset.
I noticed I adjusted color settings on the tv as well and those reset too. I'm wondering if the tv is stuck in a constant reset loop which so many other people online seem to be experiencing.
On my Shield I can change it in settings, Home screen, Apps and game rows, Sort automatically by recent usage - toggle on or off.
Check if you have these settings on your TV and switch it off, then rearrange your apps on the home screen and see if it sticks.
