H96 pro mini superuser

So today I discovered that my h96 pro mini came rooted. So I installed superuser to make sure that my box was safe and nothing happened without my permission. Anyway I went in updated restarted and now I'm stuck at the h96 pro screen. I tracked down the firmware from the site I bought the dongle off of, as well as the utility needed to reset everything back to factory via sd card or usb. Anyway my question is, how do I go about installing superuser and updating the binary so my dongle stays safe? Thanks in advance!

You are lucky that you found the firmware, I have an Z69 and it happened the same and I can't access the recovery menu or install an firmware because it isn't available. As other user has say that's the problem with those cheap android boxes, and thats why is better gadgets like raspberry pi or Odroid that gives more control. It looks that on this kind of pseudo android TV boxes people must manage carefully in order to not install any software that takes advantage of the lack of control of the superuser.

You have been conned basically into believing you would be buying an all singing all dancing "Android TV" box.

When in fact you have bought one of the worst Android tablet OS devices on the market due to the ultra crap Android firmware that comes with the device. All those dirt cheap Chinese Android tablet OS boxes are the same.

I bet you looked for a box with the best Tech specs and paid no attention to the quality of Firmware or even the user interface you would be using.
