The Firestick version of Amazon Video won't run on Mi Box because that app depends on specific FIre OS library files.
Amazon Video is also available on Android TV devices made by Sony, Philips and Nvidia. But those apps won't work on Mi Box also because Amazon blacklist all other ATV devices except devices made by those 3.
The Tablet version of Amazon Video works on Mi Box but you will need a mouse and the video quality will be in SD.
