Problem with mi box connectivity

I'm trying to connect to a 5g network with 150mbs download speed. The box is right next to the router. Every other device in the house connects perfectly to the network except the mi box. The box will connect to the network and have full bar, then 2 seconds later it will disconnect. Then it keeps doing that over and over. Anyone know a fix? I can safely say it's not my internet since every other device is fine.

I have pretty much the same setup. Running a Mi Box that's setting next to a Ubiquiti UAP-AC-PRO with 300/20 internet (soon to be gigabit fiber). It connects fine to 5GHz and stays connected. We're watching Vue on it right now.

What wireless router are you using? Does it stay connected to a 2.4GHz network? Have you tried a USB Ethernet dongle? A factory reset?

My Mi box just had a system update last night. I know that doesn't solve your problem, but it might be the cause. The update borked my remote, I had to use the Android TV remote app on my phone to unpair it. It was weird, on the settings it said everything was groovy, but it wasn't working at all.
