Ah that is what is causing issues. I have to reset my hdhr quite a bit
I sideloaded the previous version from apkmirror. Works fine now.
Make sure you disable auto app updates in the play store until they get this fixed.
I was jist about to post thr same that weak dignal is not actually weak signal for real, rsther a tuner release problem.
It can be verified by inspecting HDHomerun logs. After a couple of channel switches, the lag in release makes the tuners unavailable which is reported as weak signal by the live channels app.
Glad I am not the only one.
I'm having the same issue... not happy about it, but I'm glad I'm not the only one. Hopefully it's fixed soon. Is there a place this can be reported? Google issue or HDHR issue?

Hallelujah! Thought I was going nuts since I had not seen anyone else make this complaint. Triple-checked my antenna alignment, reset Connect several times and even checked all of my coach connections.
I'm writing this from work so I'm not looking at my Shield. Please excuse me if I don't explain it correctly. Same issue here. I went through the channel sources settings and noticed two sources were selected. There's the HDHomeRun channels as well as something else listed as beta but I don't recall what. I went through and unselected one of them and that corrected the issue. Now the issue I'm having is the guide doesn't seem to be updating.
This is a long time for this to be going on. Even installing and freezing updates doesn't always work.
I'd say this is related to the HD Homerun app which was updated on the 11th. The tuner does get released but you basically can't scroll channels.
Having lots of problems with this. Problem is I have 2 Shields and 4 Miboxes. All exhibiting the behavior in this thread. Is the only solution the one listed? Kind of a pain.

APKMirror has posted a new version of Live Channels 1.16.003, description "Improved the introduction shown when Live Channels is started for the first time" Anyone try it yet ?
Its been this way for a few days now. Hopefully they quickly fix
