Thanks for the responses everyone. I appreciate it. I'll look into getting a Xiaomi Mi Box in Canada. I heard it's a pain getting it shipped here.
I have a raspberry Pi 2 running libreelec that I'm happy with. I'm just looking to try an Android option for another TV.

You're probably in the wrong sub. Those cheap Android 'TV boxes' aren't 'Android TV' boxes.
