As the title suggests I as shown the app switcher when I short press the home button. Tried repairing the remote, no joy.
Makes it near impossible to reach the home menu. This is ever since shield experience 6.0 released today.
Any ideas?

I only read of this problem in passing. But you get this "function" if you have an app enabled in accessibility. If you turn it off, then it should work as normal. Feel free to dig through the 6.0 release thread on the GeForce forums if this doesn't work. I know I've read it mentioned and a way to fix it.
That's strange. Did you make sure to update the remote firmware after upgrading to 6.0? I assume you did, but you never know.
Not sure what else to suggest, never seen that.
