I can't get google to turn off my Shield or TV when I say things like:

"Turn Off"

"Turn off Shield"

"Turn off TV"

"Shut Down"

Etc...

Google Assistant says "Sorry I can't find that device. Please ensure that your cast device is turned on and connected to the internet"

I've got the game controller mic listening full time beta (even when the Shield is asleep). When the Shield is asleep and I ask something I can see it light up a little bit, but it doesn't fully wake up and it doesn't wake up the TV.

Under Settings, -> Display &Sound -> Power Control, I've got "CEC TV on" turned on and "CEC TV off" turned on. Those work as expected; whenever I wake up the Shield the TV also wakes up and whenever I put the Shield to sleep the TV turns off. All it takes is a click of any button on a remote, but I'd like to have that work with voice control.

Anyone else worked through this? From the guide here it looks like it should be easy.
