So I have Xfinity and will be out of the home for a bit. I have the stream tv app on my android TV box. I'll have all of the TV Go channels available but I'd like full access to my entire cable package. Problem with that is, a lot of my channels say "available in home only" and unaccessible when not on my home wifi.
Is there a workaround or a mod somewhere? Thanks in advance for any and all info.
Im pretty sure the app checks your ip address to ensure its a Xfinity IP. You'd have to somehow spoof that to make it work.
I have Cox Contour but afaik they are pretty much the same thing. The restriction makes the app useless. If i want to watch cable in my home ill just use the damn cable box. If Im using the app, im obviously somewhere away from my home.
How did you manage to get the app to work on Android TV, tried million different apks none worked.
I’d also like to know how you got the Xfinity Stream to work properly. Mine crashes every time I click the Live TV button.
