5.1 in Netflix on Mi Box

Is anyone able to get 5.1 audio from Netflix working on their Mi box? I do not see any option for 5.1 audio in Netflix titles so could that be the case? I just purchased the mi box and the only way for me to get 5.1 audio is if I use Kodi with passthrough enabled. My mi box is connected directly to my home theatre with the home theatre connected to my TV.

Any help would be appreciated.

you're receiver must support dd5.1+ for it to work, it's not the same as regular dd

Works fine for me. I have MiBox plugged into LG TV and TV optical out to a 5.1 sound bar.

Hi, I've got the same issue: HD ok on netflix, but no 5.1 output Mi mibox is connected to Harman-Kardon AV (compatible dd+) receiver which is connected to Samsung TV . If I play netflix from a laptop, 5.1 is OK... what should I do?
