I'm planning on buying 2 gamepads so my nieces can play multiplayer games on my Mi Box. I'm not even sure if there are multi-gamepad games to play with on Android TV.
Question #1: is this possible?
Question #2: any better recommendations aside from Xiaomi's own gamepad (costs around 20$ where I'm from)
Yes it can support multipule controllers and the Xiaomi controller is great especially at $20 i use a nexus contoller as well
I love my nes30. Company makes a bunch of great controllers and they are compatible with just about everything, even the switch
Gamesir S3 is cheap but great.
Not sure about mi box, I have goobang A3 and use an Xbox wireless dongle with it. My favourite game is beach buggy racing which handles 4 controllers split screen and is better than Mario kart 64 (in my opinion). Classicboy emulator works with multiple gamepads at the same time, so any multiplayer PlayStation games (crash bash, bishi bashi etc..) ,N64, SNES, NES, Sega etc work really well. Obviously you will need the ROMs for those games, but they are easy to find.
