I've tried it on my SHIELD + KODI 18a, and it runs great, you can ask: play "moviename" on kodi. Will this work on my MiBox?

Can someone explain me what’s that assistant? Does the Mi Box doesn’t already voice support? Or is it a different thing?

I wouldn't bother. The assistant on Android TV really isn't great yet.
