Setting up WiFi on Mi Box without remote

So I've recently moved and unfortunately, lost the default remote for my mi box some time ago. No problem in the past as I was able to use the remote app or a wireless mouse.

Now that I'm on a new network, I can't input the network password using a wireless mouse. Has anyone else run into this issue and what device were you able to use to input the WiFi password?

try to use the android tv remote app if that doesn't work you'd have to probably plug a keyboard and mouse in.

Plug in a keyboard and mouse with a single USB adapter or go to Walmart purchase a new mi box remove the remote and then use it to reset the mi box

Return the mi box and tell them the remote wasn't included and that's why you wanted to return it.
