Why would they release a Pixel Player? it'd probably look exactly like the SHIELD. And work like the SHIELD. And cost the same as the SHIELD. And have the same specs as the SHIELD. Are you getting what I'm saying here? ;)
Google can't keep a secret when it comes to these hardware events, my money is on no chance in hell or we'd have heard about it by now.
All I'm gonna say is can a brotha get a Ethernet port?!

Was holding out for a new ATV box announcement today but nada. I guess I will get the Shield. They better not announce an update anytime soon.

Get the Shield.
I don't think there's any streaming box on the market that's as powerful and versatile as the Shield.
I'm not even sure a new box from Google can compete with it.
And they got nothing. But hey, heres a $50 box that records everything you say 24/7.
Specs marginally better than Mi Box 2, arbitrarily dual colored and costs as much as the top model shield TV.
