Hi all, I just purchased a 2017 Nvidia Shield TV. Besides the obvious, Netflix, Hulu, Plex etc. what apps do you recommend?

Aptiode TV to download any app and not have to deal with sideloading thru ex file explorer

The CW if you like any of the shows they make
FoxNow is not bad either. You can watch latest episodes of The Orville and other shows for free without a cable subscription log in.
Mobdro isn't bad. Needs to be sideloaded though I think.

I'm fairly new to Nvadia Shield. I've only been a user for about 2 weeks, but here are the free legal apps that I frequently use:

Crackle

Kodi

Pbs

Vudu (I have a bunch of UV movies, but there are free ones on here too)

I use an HDHomerun Extend hook to an antenna for local live OTA feeds, and the HDHomerun app works the best on the Shield.

I am a subscriber to PlayStation Vue, which adds log in credentials to some TV Anywhere apps as well.

Do you like retro games? If so, get Arc Browser along with some emulators for the systems you want to play.
