This looks to be an update for your TV, not for the Shield. Use your TV remote to select the update.

yeah dude that's an update for your tv it even says you can't use it (the tv) while it updates lol

Your TV has Android TV built in. That's an update for your TV. Select it with the TV remote.

what's that thing your TV is sitting on?

This notification pops up every time I start my TV or shield, irrespective of how I had turned it off.

The notificaiton is inactive i.e. I cannot select any buttons on the notification.

Is anyone else getting this?

Is there a way I can get rid of it?

EDIT: Thanks guys. It was indeed my TV update. I used my TV remote. Now I feel stupid.
