Try a USB connected Keyboard. The Mi Box's BT remote is not supposed to work in Android recovery

If you're attempting to flash an update, you can just create a file called 'xiaomi_update' (no file extension) that just contains the following text:

--update_package=/udisk/<filename>.zip

Drop that and the update zip file in the root directory of your USB drive and it will run the update for you.
