My Mi Box just won't connect. or rather, it says it is connected but I can not actually connect to the internet. Curiously, the Mi Box also displays additional wifi networks with network names slightly different from my own.
An example would be if our network was mind your business, there would be another network or two called mind tour business, and another named mind youf business.
I initially thought it was a nearby network just being annoying, but when i turned on my wireless hotspot i saw AndroidAP as well as AndroifAP.
Does anyone have any idea what is going on? or any idea how i can connect this damned thing to the internet?
I would reformat and take a real good look at your network. Does other devices see there "networks"? Do they have password protection? Maybe check your phone apps and PC. It sounds like a security issue to me.
